THE MARRON STAGE SCHOOL was established in 1967 and has since grown from strength to strength allowing us to offer first class training to potential performers. The aim of our teaching staff is to train each student to reach his, or her, full potential whilst enjoying the social benefits that the performing allows. EXAMINATIONS are available at intervals throughout the year depending on the individuals rate of progress. We prepare pupils for I.D.T.A. and U.K.A. examinations. The International Dance Teachers Association is the biggest association in the country and offers a comprehensive syllabus covering all styles of theatre dance. The United Kingdom Allience is based in the north and offers many local events throughout the year. | |

STYLES OF DANCE The following styles of dance are the core subjects available to all students. Ballet, Tap, Theatre Dance, Jazz Dance and Modern Dance. We aim to offer variety to our students and as such incorporate other subjects such as National dance, Greek Dance, Freestyle and Body Conditioning into our classes. THE LEISURE STUDENT is encouraged to attend classes on a weekly basis developing his / her potential at a steady rate towards examination and school performance level. THE AMBITIOUS STUDENT who shows exceptional potential is encouraged to develop that ability through extra tuition, master classes, festival and theatrical performances. |

PRICES vary depending on the type of tuition undertaken. At the time of print the cost of an hours tuition is £2.00. Private tuition is available, price to be negotiated. Fees are paid at the start of a five week term and no refunds are given for absence. VENUE studios one and two and three are located at Marley hill Community Hall, Marley Hill. APPLICATION please complete and return the enclosed application form giving details of your training experience and requirements.
