Colin Francis - Singing TeacherHe started his career back in 1988, in the infamous learning ground - the North East club circuit. Following his success on Sky TV's 'Search for a star', his career took a distinct change of direction. First of all his talents were taken abroad to places like Norway, Lanzarote and Spain, shortly to be followed by his first appearance in a successful production show entitled 'Comedy Cafe', which toured England and Wales. Next came a move into the holiday centre 'Star Cabaret' circuit with Haven leisure, where his success on stage brought repeated appearances lasting four years. His biggest break came in 1997, when his career then took him into the world of cruising, working for the prestigious Celebrity Cruises, the same company that gave Jane McDonald her rise to fame. Colin has had the pleasure of working with some of the worlds most famous names. The Drifters, Frank Carson, Max Bygraves, and TV comedian Tom O'Connor are to name just a few. |
